Mount Sinai and Continuum Health Partners have combined to form the Mount Sinai Health System. The combination took some months in planning, and with the completion of the transaction in September 2013, Mount Sinai now looks to build on the strengths of both institutions to create a health system that stands as a national and global model of academic, clinical, and research excellence. As the Mount Sinai Health System continues to evolve, and through each phase of the integration, our goal will be to keep you informed and provide timely updates about the benefits as well as the challenges that come with this transition. Additionally, you will find that key stakeholders—including human resources, physicians, and the student communities—have shared and will continue to communicate their goals, vision, and roles in this integration process.
