The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a full range of rehabilitation medicine services, including both inpatient and outpatient services through our hospitals, ambulatory centers, and physician practices throughout New York City and its surrounding areas. We have comprehensive programs for those facing temporary or long-term disability from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputation, multiple trauma, major orthopedic surgery and more. MSHS also has extensive outpatient programs for sports and work-related injuries as well as pain management. The New York Traumatic Brain Injury Model System, coordinated by the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai is one of 16 nationwide, and the only one of its kind in the New York metropolitan area. Since 1996, the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai has consistently been ranked as one of the top rehabilitation facilities in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
