Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel

Since 1904, the school has been educating a diverse group of women and men to enter the profession of nursing since 1904. Our school is part of Mount Sinai Beth Israel, which offers students the opportunity for exceptional, hands-on clinical experience at renowned teaching hospitals in the Mount Sinai Health System.

Our nursing programs prepare graduates to practice nursing within the realities of today’s health care system. Major health problems are taught using a humanistic framework based on meeting patient needs in the hospital, in the home and in a variety of community based settings. The required liberal arts and sciences courses enrich the students’ knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, advanced writing, and oral communication.

Our school’s small size, and supportive faculty and administration create an academically stimulating environment where you will receive the individualized attention you need to make your dreams become a reality.
